The European Footvolley Championship 2019 in Lucerne
The Footvolley League 2019, our new tour concept, consists of 4 stages. National champions and top teams from 15 European nations have battled in 3 qualification stages (Graz, Schwäbisch Gmünd and Albuferia) for a spot in the Finals in Lucerne, Switzerland.
For the first time in history 15 countries had to compete to qualify for only 12 spots in the final of the European Championship. Furthermore, the top 3 countries (Portugal, Spain and France) and the host nation (Switzerland) earned a 2nd team in this final stage .Numbers 12 (Belgium), 13 (Greece) and 14 (Croatia) are unable to send their national champions to Lucerne. The UK did not qualify because it did not participate in the minimum of 2 qualification events. Therefore the number 4 (Austria) is sending a 2nd team. So now it is time for the final title fight to become the European Footvolley Champions 2019 in Lucerne.
